Hey everyone, I’ve run into an annoying issue recently while prepping some graphics for a video project. I exported several transparent PNG badges and text overlays from Acorn to layer onto video clips, but whenever I import them into my mobile timeline while editing with cepcutapk, the transparent boundaries develop this strange dark fringing and pixelated halo. Along with the edge artifacts, the exported graphics seem to shift color slightly and look noticeably desaturated compared to how they render on the canvas. Has anyone experienced transparency rendering glitches or color profile mismatches like this when transferring graphic assets between desktop tools and mobile video editors, and is there a specific export color space or premultiplied alpha setting I should tweak to keep the overlays clean?
The exported PNG files should be unpremultiplied by default, as that’s what the PNG format expects.
Are you able to try another format, and does it have the same issue? What if you export as TIFF?
It does sound like a premultiplication problem to me, but the formats coming out of Acorn should be correct…
