Transparent line appears when stretching selection in one direction

Hi,

When I stretch a selection in one direction, a transparent line appears on the other side. When stretching more, the line is thicker.

Can you tell me what version of Acorn and what version of MacOS you’re using?

And can you also tell me how you’re resign the selection? (Scale and Rotate (with or without keep proportions enabled)? Perspective Transform, other?)

With that info, I hope to reproduce it on my end.

I’ve seen this too. Let me know if I can be of help.

I use:
Mac OS 10.15.7
Acorn 6.6.2

I wanted to attach 3 images here to explain, but as a new user, it let me attach only one.

Basically you make a selection and then you pull the middle point. Try it pulling it farther away. After that you press Enter and you will see the opposite side of the point where you pulled has a transparent line.

Here is another attachment, I think it explains it all:

Just to double check - are you using the Layer ▸ Rotate and Transform ▸ Scale and Rotate menu item, and then in the palette that comes up, do you have the “Keep proportions” option unchecked?

I think I know what’s going on, but I want to make sure we’re looking at the same thing.

I was using the shortcut Cmd-Shift-T. But when I am going through those menu items, I see that the “Keep proportions” is unchecked
