I just discovered that nobody in these forums has mentioned the dither filter. OK, it’s pretty niche, but it’s also very good, especially as part of a filter preset.
I just bought an epaper display for my raspberry pi. Think original Mac screen - each pixel is black or white. No colours, no shades of grey. It also takes several seconds to refresh.
But I wanted nice photos on it. The Acorn dither filter stacked with the greyscale and colour adjustment filters gives me all the control I need to make great photos easily. Well not really great, given the display limitations, but the best possible from the original images.
So this is just a thank you for that little feature. And a big thank you for filter presets that make it so much easier to use.
