When a shape is added from the tools menu, to any design in an Acorn file, the Scale and Rotate handles appear automatically. If an image is added this is not the case, in fact a double click is required to activate Scale and Rotate. Most other programs allow Scale and Rotate with a single click on any shape or image. Is there a reason this option is not available in Acorn?
It’s just the way we designed it. I always saw the handles as visual clutter, most of the time you’re not scaling and rotating the layer - but I suppose if they only showed up when you have the move too active, that would be a reasonable compromise.
