Saving layered image

Hi

If I save a layered .tiff or .psd, is it still editable in acorn? Looks like the answer is no, even though the layers are there! From the export manual page…

‘Export’….. PSD (layered), PSD (single layer), PDF, SVG, TIFF (layered), TGA.

It is important when editing images to always save a copy of your work as a .acorn file. Saving in the .acorn file format is the only way to preserve your layers for future editing.

You’ll be able to open the layered image back up in Acorn, but it won’t have editable text boxes or shape layers. When exporting as PSD or TIFF images, everything is rasterized to bitmaps.

So to keep full fidelity of your layers, we recommend saving as .acorn.
