Hi - I’m new to image editing - 10+y ago I knew basics re Photoshop but not any longer. I think I understand layers - but I am stuck with adding a photo and it not appearing (despite eye) symbol showing and all I have is a checkerboard of with/grey squares and no view of my image. Wondering what I’m going wrong?
Can you give us a bigger screenshot of the window (or maybe send it to support@flyingmeat.com?). I’m wondering if your zoomed way in to an edge of the image where there’s only transparency, or maybe the blending mode is set to something which would make the layer show up empty.
