Need to Make a Label... Can Acorn Do This..?

I need to make the above label, so I can add text to it using Acorn. I’ve drawn it in SketchUp, but when I import it into Acorn, It’s really low resolution and I can’t seem to set output resolution from within SketchUp. I’ve output it in .tiff, .eps, .png and .pdf, with no joy. As you can see, even Acorn’s text is coming out lo-res (see follow-up post)…

So, would it be possible to create that label in Acorn using selections, etc…?

TIA,

Tim

It’s as if the document resolution is 32 pixels per inch…

What is the resolution set to? You can change that in the Image ▸ Resize Image… menu.

You can also scale up the image at that time, which it sounds like you might need to do.

I’m not familiar with SketchUp, or how you will be using the final graphic, but what if you remade the graphic first in Acorn at a higher resolution, add the text there, then export it out from Acorn?

Another idea would be to create it in a vector program if you have one, add the text there too, then convert the text to outlines. The vector can be used at any size with no loss in quality.
