Why is the application suggesting that I move it to my Home folder, instead of the system /Applications folder? Retrobatch asks the same.

If you have an ~/Applications folder, Acorn (and RB) assumes you’re going to want it there. The idea being that if you’re proactive enough to create this on your own, then that’s where things should go.
Looks like Steam and CrossOver were the proactive forces here. I’m a big ol’ nerd and I still found the suggestion (esp with the default of moving to ~/Applications) a little puzzling. Anyway, thanks for the explanation!
