I want a new window, not new tab

In one of the last updates something changed

When do a cmd 6 (screen capture) or opt. cmd N I get a new tab image, but I want it to be a new (separate ) window

I’ve searched a couple places but I can’t find a way to change this

In Acorn’s Settings (aka, Preferences), under General, there’s an option titled “Prefer tabs:”. Set that to “Never” and it should do what you’re after.
