How to add a border to a selection?

I have an PNG with a transparent background that is all black (the Apple logo). I’d like to add a small white border to this image so that it displays properly on a black background.

What’s the easiest way to do this? I remember doing something similar a long time ago using Gimp, so I was hoping to be able to “grow” the selection but apparently Acorn doesn’t have this feature..

You could use the Fuzz Stroke filter on the transparent layer. Here’s a screenshot of what that would look like (and I’m using an orange background so the white comes through on the transparent layer):
