When writing files, what are your file type and quality settings advice?
My main uses will be to upload the converted images to Slack, forums and for e-mail attachments.
My main concerns: maintaining quality and sharpness, while trying to get under 1MB.
I would first try PNG, with the Crush option enabled. You might also throw an “Indexed PNG” node in front of the Write node first, which will reduce the number of colors in the image and make it even smaller.
If that doesn’t work, then I’d use JPEG.
