Increase the length of the Zoom Slider so that it occupies more of the window border, giving finer control over zooming. TIA.
Did you know that you can click on the zoom percentage field, and enter exactly what zoom level you’d like the canvas to be scaled to?
There’s also the “Scrub zoom” option in the Zoom palette, which turns your canvas into a giant zoom slider.
And if you don’t have the zoom tool selected, you can quickly press the spacebar and then command key down (and keep them down) to temporarily activate the zoom tool. When you release the keys, Acorn will switch back to whatever tool you were previously using.
