Create an image that looks like a 3D tile

Hi

I am trying, with ZERO luck to create an image that looks as though it is a tile, that is, all the way round there is a dropped edge so that when looking from above, the main area of the image looks slightly raised.

Any help appreciated…

Can you give an example of what you’re looking for?

Sure..

I hope this shows the raised effect all the way round. The border is lower than the main part of the image. I hope that is clear to see?

So like a drop shadow?

There’s a filter for this, and if you use this you’ll want to delete some from the edges of your image, or increase the canvas size so the shadow shows up.
