I’ve been looking very closely at the typography features in the major editors lately and I’m getting a feel for where the edge cases are. I found a couple things in Acorn, apologies if these are known issues.
1: If you make an interior character on the first line big, it cuts it off
2: If you just click to place type rather than drag, it appears to still make framed text, but with a frame that auto grows. This grows as you type, but if you select some text and increase the tracking, it fails to grow. This example shows “the quick brown fox” but brown fox wraps below and is cut off.
