Content-aware fill available? Workaround?

I’m coming over from Pixelmator Classic because it’s not working on Sequoia (I’m on a MacBook Air 2020 Intel). Is there a feature like “content-aware fill” (aka Magic Eraser, Smart Erase, Inpainting, etc.)?

If not, can someone briefly walk me through how I might be able to emulate this? What I’ve got so far is, select and delete the area that I want and then I can use the color picker to select a fill color and then just fill in the area… but it doesn’t look that good. What might be some other techniques I can use?

Content-aware fill (aka, inpainting) is super high up on the list of things I want to add to Acorn.
