I’m creating shapes in a layer and giving them some different fill values. I would like to be able to duplicate this layer and rotate the shapes as if they are a single unit. If I merge paths, I lose my fill colors. Is there a better way?
Assuming you’re using Acorn 6 (or the Acorn 7 beta), you can select your shapes, change your tool to the move tool (shortcut key ‘v’), and then right outside one of the corners of the bounding box you can click and begin rotating all the shapes around a single axis. (The cursor will turn into a little rotation symbol when you’re hovering over the correct spot).
Try it out- it should be exactly what you’re after.
That was exactly it! Thanks so much.
