I wonder if this is on your list. I know that there are some dedicated tools out there. The ones I tested were not so great (ok, it’s been a couple of years). So with all the new machine learning capabilities I wonder if something like this is more on the “low hanging fruits”-side now or still hard to achieve.
I don’t know if this is an answer for you request, but it could be a work around.
“Expand Canvas to fit layers”
if you take the screen shots, put them in layers (cut and paste) then slide the layer off screen then use that function. It makes the canvas and your image as big as the shots you have.
