I open a NEF file, which I want to immediately save as (convert to? export?) a TIF – but both Save As and Export are gray. I’m obviously missing something obvious. What’s obvious, folks?

Those menu items are disabled when the raw import window is still up. This is because at that point, Acorn still hasn’t baked the image into RGB pixels (all the operations on that page happen to the original raw data).

So, if you click on the OK button and after the image comes up, do the Save As and Export menu items work for you?
