I am working with text (adding shadow and a Fuzz which looks like glow to me) and I decided to group it so I could move it around. I couldn’t seem to get it to group so I found the “Layer▸ Merge Visible” and without researching it (I know, I know) I chose it. It works beautifully…until I decided to make one more little change. I can not seem to figure a way to undo the move. Does anyone know how to undo the Merge Visible move?
Using the Edit ▸ Undo menu item should do it for you. Unless you’ve already closed the file, then your merge will be permanent.
In the future, if you create a new group layer and drag and drop your layers into the group layer in the inspector palette, that should allow you to move the layers around.
