I’m building a workflow to create my favicon-set for websites and I just realized that the .ico conversion is missing. Is there a chance that it will be added soon?
I’ll look into it. You’re aware that the images must be square and 16, 32, 48, 128, or 256 pixels in size?
Alright, I was curious if this could be done with a plug-in, and it can!
You’ll need to download the latest build of Retrobatch 1.2 beta from here: Latest Builds from Flying Meat
And then you’ll want to install the following plugin:
https://flyingmeat.com/retrobatch/jsplugin/WriteICO.retrobatchplugin.zip
And you’ll get a new node that shows up. It isn’t fancy- you can only pick a directory. And I haven’t tested it on anything bug 10.14, so it’ll probably only work there. And it requires Retrobatch Pro as well for the new plugin support. But… well, try it out and let me know how it works for you!
